| Zee launches ZICA in Ahmedabad |

Zee Institute of Creative Arts (ZICA), a division of Zee Interactive Learning Systems (ZILS), unveiled its new centre in Ahmedabad on Saturday. ZICA is India's principal academy of digital arts, film making and classical animation.
Currently running 12 centres across the country, ZICA is a pioneer animation institute that has churned out a number of animation prodigies in the past 14 years. The institute imparts practical training on pre-production/visualisation, production and post-production.
Commenting on the occasion, Subhadarshi Tripathy – head youth business, ZICA, said, "The animation industry has a tremendous growth opportunity in the Indian market. India is becoming a preferred destination for animation outsourcing and will soon overtake the traditional players. ZICA is launched with an aim to provide industry relevant courses and guidance in terms of practical and theory knowledge to the students. ZICA's focus has always been to provide quality education of advanced standard to its students and shall continue to do the same."
ZICA will offer certificate and diploma courses in 2D & 3D animation, visual effects and gaming ranging from six months to one year duration.
ZILS is the education division of ETC Networks Ltd., an education company that is part of the Essel Group.
