Engaged in the manufacture and sale of automotive wheel rims, Steel Strips Wheels Ltd, posted highest ever steel wheel sales of 805881 units in August 2010 as compared to 5,19,812 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, thus recording a growth of 55 per cent.
The company have also achieved highest ever steel wheel production of 7,96,418 units in August 2010, a growth of 51 per cent from the comparable month of the previous year in which it produced 5,27,612 units, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company has achieved the export sales of 77,692 wheel rims during the month of August, 2010 as against 26,247 wheel rims during the month of August, 2009, recording a growth of 196 per cent.
